			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Eric Bogosian</strong> (<em>Playwright</em>) In addition to <em>Talk  Radio</em> (originally produced at the New York Shakespeare Festival in 1987),  is the author of the plays <em>subUrbia</em> (LCT), and <em>Griller</em> (Goodman), both  directed by Robert Falls, <em>Red Angel</em> (Williamstown Theater Festival), <em>Humpty  Dumpty</em> (McCarter Theatre) and six solo performances (<em>Sex, Drugs, Rock &amp; Roll</em> and others), which he starred in  Off-Broadway between 1980 and 2000,  for which he received three Obie Awards. He  adapted and starred in  Oliver Stone&#8217;s film of <em>Talk Radio</em> (Berlin Film Festival – Silver Bear Award), and wrote  the screenplay for Richard Linklater&#8217;s film version of <em>subUrbia</em>. Mr. Bogosian is the author of two novels, <em>Mall</em> and <em>Wasted Beauty</em> and a novella, <em>Notes  from Underground</em>. As an actor, Bogosian has appeared in numerous films and television programs, starring in Robert Altman&#8217;s <em>The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial</em>, <em>Under Siege 2</em>, Atom Egoyan&#8217;s <em>Ararat</em> and <em>Wonderland</em>.  Currently he stars on &#8220;Law &amp; Order: Criminal Intent&#8221; on NBC. He is  the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship. <hr /><strong>Tad Savinar</strong> (<em>Co-Creator</em>)  was formally trained as a visual artist and had  no experience in the  theater experience prior to meeting Mr. Bogosian in  1980. Since the  original production of <em>Talk  Radio</em> in 1982, he has written and had professionally produced four  stage plays. A fifth, <em>Cover Shot</em>,   a play about architects and developers, was commissioned by the Oregon   Shakespeare Festival and produced by the Portland Repertory Theater in  1994.  Mr. Savinar continues to exhibit his visual work in galleries  and museums  across the country.  Since 1991, he has focused most of his  time and  energy as an urban design consultant for large scale  infrastructure projects  and inner-city revitalization plans.</p>
<hr /><strong>Robert Falls</strong> (<em>Director</em>) is celebrating his 20th anniversary as artistic director of Chicago&#8217;s Goodman Theatre, where he most recently directed <em>King Lear</em>, starring Stacy Keach. <p><strong>Liev Schreiber </strong>plays<strong> </strong>Barry Champlain, the vituperative and mesmerizing radio host. He was last seen on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning revival of <em>Glengarry Glen Ross, </em>for which he received the Best Featured Actor award for his portrayal of Ricky Roma.  His other recent stage credits include <em>Macbeth</em>, Harold Pinter’s <em>Betrayal,</em> and Neil LaBute’s <em>The Mercy Seat.</em></p>
